With the completion of the election process and the Election Model Code of Conduct ceasing to be in operation, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer of Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, has permitted all arms and ammunition dealers, including air rifle shops under Kohima district, to reopen and continue their normal operation with immediate effect.
The closure of all arms and ammunition dealers, including air rifle shops, under Kohima district was ordered on April 8, 2023, due to the enforcement of the Election Model Code of Conduct.
