In a recent notification, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe, has announced that all arms license holders in Mokokchung District who had previously deposited their licensed firearms at local police stations in preparation for the 18th Lok Sabha Elections are now permitted to reclaim their weapons. The permission for collection is effective from July 11, 2024.
