Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, has informed all concerned that absentee voters in the categories of senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and Covid-19 suspect or affected persons will be allowed to cast their votes through postal ballot for the bye-election to the 28(ST) Koridang Assembly Constituency as per the notified schedule.

According to the notification, the first visit will be conducted on April 1, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the addresses of the Absentee Voters Senior Citizens, Absentee Voters Persons with Disabilities, and Absentee Voters Covid-19 affected categories.

The second visit will be carried out on April 2,from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the same addresses to facilitate those who could not cast their votes during the first round.
