ATMA Mokokchung, Changtongya block, conducted a demonstration at Akhoya and Unger villages on 19 August.
In Akhoya village, a demonstration on Good Agricultural Practices for the production of winter crops, specifically Broccoli and Pokchoi, was conducted by resource person Toshirenla T Longkumer, ATM, Changtongya block. She highlighted the importance of proper sowing time, when to transplant, the significance of maintaining appropriate spacing, irrigation techniques, harvesting times, and methods for storing the harvested crop to prolong its shelf life.
Additionally, another demonstration was conducted for the Ashinu Food Security Group on the good cultivation practices of Knol khol.
