ATMA Zunheboto block conducted a training and demonstration program on March 4 and 5, 2025, at Lizu Old and Heikye village.


During the training program on “Value Addition of Green Chilli,” the resource person, Aloli, ATM Zunheboto block, highlighted the importance of value addition to prevent post-harvest losses and promote marketing opportunities. Hands-on training was provided on the method of preparing green chilli pickle, followed by explanations on the types of ingredients required, packaging, bottling methods, and product storage.

On March 5, 2025, at Heikye village, a hands-on demonstration on “Biofertilizers and Their Uses” was conducted by Wapangtoshi Longkumer, BTM Zunheboto block, where he demonstrated the practical application process of biofertilizers, including seed root tip and seed treatment.

Additionally, a demonstration on “Post-Harvest Storage of Pulses and Cereals (Hermetic Bag)” was conducted by Kanato, ATM Zunheboto block, where a hands-on demonstration on how to use a Hermetic bag for storing pulses and cereals to prevent spoilage and control insect pests was shown.
