The Nagaland Law Students Federation (NLSF) has expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Bar Council of India, Manan Kumar Mishra, for approving and establishing an examination centre for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) in Nagaland.

In a press release, the NLSF described the decision as a “landmark achievement” for aspiring legal professionals from the state, stating that it would significantly ease long-standing difficulties faced by candidates.

“For many years, candidates from the State were compelled to undertake travel unto other jurisdictions to appear for the AIBE, frequently encountering financial, logistical, and personal hardships,” the release stated. It added that the establishment of an examination centre would “significantly alleviate these challenges and ensure greater accessibility for candidates pursuing enrolment into the legal profession.”
