Mokokchung, 15 July (MTNews): In a bid to ensure the effective implementation of the programs and policies of the Nagaland People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) Government at the grassroots level, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal has unanimously constituted a Social Outreach Committee.

 

The decision to form the committee was made during the Mandal’s monthly executive meeting held on 15 July. Mandal General Secretary Pranab Singh stated that this committee has been a long-felt aspiration of the BJP party workers who are committed to serving the people in tune with the party’s slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ (Together with all, Development for all).

 

Over the coming months, the newly formed Social Outreach Committee will strategically plan and implement various programs in a phased manner, it said, further adding that the committee intends to collaborate with government agencies, like-minded non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and individuals who share the goal of bringing government schemes to the grassroots.

 

Expressing optimism about the success of the Outreach Program, Lanusunep, President of BJP 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal, expressed hope that the Outreach Program will be a success not only because the governmental programs are people-centric but also the citizens of 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal are educated and proactive when it comes to the welfare of the people.

 

To lead the committee, Bendangmeren, a State Council Member, has been appointed as the Convener. Bendangyanger, BJP District Secretary, and Lanusunep, President of 27 BJP Mokokchung Town Mandal, will serve as Co-conveners. Pranab Singh, General Secretary of 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal, and Temsunungla, Mandal Secretary, will hold the positions of Member Secretary and Assistant Member Secretary, respectively. In addition to these key roles, five committee members were also appointed.
