The Capital College of Higher Education conducted a One-Day Hands-On Training and Awareness session on Waste Segregation, Composting, Single-Use Plastics, and Clean Air on 4 October 2023 at Satya Sabha Hall, Kohima. Mrs T Lanusenla Longkumer, Administrator of Kohima Municipal Council, served as the resource person. Dr Zokho Venuh, Principal of CCHE, delivered the welcome address, and a musical play based on waste management was performed by 5th-semester English major students. Theja Lohe chaired the program, which was organized by College NSS and RRC in collaboration with Kohima College Municipal Council.
