On Match Day 3 of the 9th Edition of the Capt N Kenguruse MVC Memorial Football Tournament, Dimapur Sporting Club edged Nagaland Police FC in a thrilling 2–1 encounter, while Langsa Hill FC delivered a dominant 6–0 masterclass over Wokha District Ex-Servicemen League Club.

Dimapur Sporting Club registered a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Nagaland Police FC. Dimapur SC started strongly, with Rhitsho opening the scoring in the 13th minute after finishing off a swift counter-attack. Nagaland Police FC grew into the game as the second half progressed, and their efforts were rewarded when Limakumzuk found the equaliser in the 70th minute. However, just when the match seemed destined for a draw, Gaichui scored the decisive goal deep into stoppage time in the 80+2nd minute, sealing all three points for Dimapur SC.
In another match, Langsa Hill FC produced a commanding performance to defeat Wokha District Ex-Servicemen League Club 6–0. Vinato put Langsa Hill ahead in the 23rd minute from the penalty spot, followed by Pangersunep’s composed finish in the 31st minute to make it 2–0. Eshong extended the lead to 3–0 just before halftime, converting another penalty in the 43rd minute.
The second half continued in the same dominant fashion, with Ghuqhe adding the fourth goal in the 49th minute after a well-worked team move. Alei then completed the rout with two well-taken goals in the 62nd and 80+2nd minutes, giving Langsa Hill FC an emphatic 6–0 win.
