Phek, 23 May (MTNews): The Indian Council of Agricultural Research – National Research Centre on Mithun (ICAR-NRCM), Medziphema, conducted a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) at Porba village, Phek district, on May 23, 2024. The session was led by Dr. Narendra VN, an Agricultural Extension Scientist, and Dr Raghulraj, a Senior Technical Officer at ICAR-NRCM, Porba.
Dr Narendra VN stated in a press release that the information collected during this PRA will be instrumental in tailoring research and extension activities to better serve the community, enhancing the productivity and sustainability of Mithun rearing and other agricultural practices in the region. He emphasized that this collaborative approach highlights ICAR-NRCM’s commitment to integrating scientific research with local knowledge for the benefit of rural livelihoods.
