Mokokchung, August 6 (MTNews): A two-member central team comprising of Central Nodal Officer Jal Shakti Abhiyan (JSA: CTR) & Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of India, New Delhi, Sukh Lal Meena, and Technical Officer JSA: CTR & Scientist-D (Hydrogeology) CGWB NER Guwahati, visited Dimapur district to inspect various projects and activities undertaken by various departments under Jal Shakti Abiyan “Catch The Rain” in Dimapur district from the 3rd to the 5th of August 2022.
The visiting team briefed the District Level Committee on Jal Shakti Abiyan “Catch The Rain” which consist of Water Resources Department and 13 other Allied Departments at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, on 5th August 2022, where views and suggestions were exchanged to make the nationwide campaign on rainwater a success.
Sachin Jaiswal, the Deputy Commissioner for Dimapur, who is also the District Nodal Officer and the Chairman of the District Level Committee on JSA, presided over the debriefing session.
From 29 March to 30 November 2022, the Jal Shakti Abiyan “Catch The Rain” (JSA:CTR) campaign will target both urban and rural areas in every district in the nation with the message “Catch The Rain where it falls, when it falls.”
