The Clark Theological College (CTC), Aolijen, Mokokchung, held its 50th Graduation Ceremony at the college multi-court on April 13, with Bishop Dr. Anilkumar John Servand as the speaker.


Bishop Dr. Anilkumar John Servand is the Bishop of the Methodist Church in India; Master, Council of Serampore College (University); Central Committee Member of the World Methodist Council; and Chief of Acharya Satal Christian Ashram, Nainital.

Delivering the graduation address, the Bishop encouraged the students to be change agents and to carry the mantle of Clark Theological College’s values. He said that each one of the graduates should serve with accountability, devotion, courage, and faithfulness in any ministry they serve.

Diplomas and certificates were conferred upon the graduates by Rev. Dr. Meyu Changkiri, Chairman of the CTC Board of Governors.

A total of 132 students graduated, including 2 from D.Th, 34 from M.Th, 89 B.D graduates, and 7 with a Diploma in Church Music Ministry. In these 50 convocation ceremonies over the years, a total of 2,516 alumni have graduated from Clark Theological College.

Awards and certificates were presented to deserving students by Prof. Rev. Dr. A. Temjen Jamir.

In the graduation students’ response, the graduating class was represented by Rev. Wanboklang Shylla (D.Th), Ms. Senaienla (M.Th), and Ms. Kushen K. (B.D), who expressed their gratitude and reflections on their time at CTC.

The ceremony concluded with a closing hymn, followed by a prayer and benediction by Bishop Dr. Anilkumar John Servand.

The event was attended by guests, faculty members, and graduating students.

Earlier, Prof. Rev. Dr. A. Temjen Jamir, Principal of CTC, delivered the welcome address.
