Mokokchung, June 29 (MTNews): In observance of World Population Day 2022 on the Theme “Adopt Family Planning Measures and write a New Chapter of Progress,” the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Mokokchung will be organizing population fortnight from July 11 – 24, 2022.
A press release from the Chief Medical Officer Office, Mokokchung stated that during this fortnight, services like tubectomy/IUCD insertions will be provided free of cost.
Tubectomy/IUCD will be carried out at District Hospital Mokokchung and IUCD insertions will be done at PHCs and CHCs during the mentioned days, the press release said.
“Those interested to avail these services can give their names to the ASHAs or visit the nearest Health Centre during the mobilization fortnight which is from 27th June to the 10th of July 2022,” it informed.
