Central Nagaland Students’ Association (CNSA) has raised concerns over the condemnations issued by various groups and organizations pertaining to the statement made by Minister Imna Along at the recently concluded Assembly Session. CNSA on Sunday in a press release said that the Minister was quoting the “statement of the Union Home Minster of the Government of India,” and that it was not his personal sentiment.

CNSA further said that it would extend its “fullest support if the matter is raised against the person who told the Minister but targeting the second person who conveyed the message to the Naga people to let them know and create awareness amongst the common people about the pulse and the mindset of the Government of India is highly objectionable.” CNSA further said that Naga society cannot progress if the leaders of various groups and organizations continue to be selective and hide the truth from Naga people for whom they profess to represent, it added.
