Chümoukedima, 18 August (MTNews): The Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) organized a special program to felicitate the CNTC legislators of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly today in Chümoukedima. The program was chaired by Capt GK Zhimomi, General Secretary of CNTC, and recorded by L Yanger Imsong, Secretary of CNTC. The program began with a prayer of blessings by Rev Robert Kikon, Senior Minister of Father’s House Church Global, Chümoukedima.
The opening address was delivered by Khondao Ngully, President of CNTC, and the felicitation of legislators was carried out by Hekhushe Shikhu, Vice President of CNTC. Greetings on behalf of Ao Senden, Lotha Hoho, and Sumi Hoho were delivered by Chubawati Longchar, President of Ao Senden; Tsibonthung Murry, General Secretary of Lotha Hoho; and I Nikheto Jimomi, President of Sumi Hoho.
Short speeches were given by G Kaito Aye, Convenor of Central Nagaland Legislators Forum and Minister of Roads & Bridges; Imkong L Imchen, Co-Convenor of CNLF, MLA & Advisor for IPR, Soil & Water Conservation; and Y Patton, Treasurer of CNLF and Deputy Chief Minister for Home & Border Affairs. Tokheho Yepthomi, MP Lok Sabha (Nagaland), exhorted the gathering.
The program concluded with a mass prayer followed by a grand customary feast prepared by the host of today’s program, MLA Nuklutoshi and family.
