The ‘Concerned Citizens of Mongsenbai Ward’, which is a group of young residents of the Ward, has lauded the Nagaland minister of Rural Development and SIRD, Metsubo Jamir, for his initiative in repairing and repaving a 1 ½ kilometer stretch of road within their locality in Mongsenbai Ward under Mokokchung Town.
After successfully persuading the minister to fulfill their long felt need of maintenance of the said road stretch, the group on Thursday said that there is strength in unity. While urging youngsters not to engage in self-serving petty politics, the group reaffirmed that strength rests in unity and encouraged them to work in the interest of the larger good of the people and society.
