In preparation for the upcoming Moatsü Mini Hornbill Festival 2025, a coordination meeting was convened by the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji (NCS), on April 4 at the DC’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung.
During the meeting, President of Ao Senden, Marsanen Imsong, briefed the gathering on the work distribution among various sub-committees. He called upon all committee members to extend full cooperation and work together as a team to ensure the success of the festival. Imsong also informed that the festival will be a three-day affair, scheduled from May 1 to May 3, 2025, with Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio attending as the Chief Guest on May 2.
The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe. Key stakeholders, including the Chairman of Mokokchung Municipal Council, representatives from Ao Senden, Watsü Mungdang, Ao Students’ Conference (AKM), All Ward Union Mokokchung, Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem, officials from various government departments, and members of the Gaonburas Union Mokokchung Town, attended the session.
