The Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO), in collaboration with VisionSpring Foundation from Assam, has launched a free eye check-up camp in Phek Town. The two-month-long camp has been initiated today at the CPO Building.

CPO President Vezuhii Keyho addressed the inaugural function, stating that the camp, themed “Clear Vision, Bright Future,” aims to provide eye check-ups for 5,000 individuals within the CPO jurisdiction in Phek District. The focus will be on weavers and artisans to support their long-term economic activities.
The camp will be conducted in phases, with Phek being the starting point, followed by Pfutsero and Chozuba areas. Keyho expressed gratitude to Sophy Lasuh and Nokho Nyekha for their logistical support. Rumon Konwar from VisionSpring mentioned that the team will strive to reach the target of 5,000 people and has encouraged the community to take advantage of the free check-ups.
The inaugural event was chaired by CPO General Secretary Chepetso Koza, with a prayer led by Khrusazo Nyekha, Associate Pastor of Phek Town Baptist Church. Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) President Kevesa Khamo, Phek Town Council Deputy Chairman Chetezo Akami, and various other organizational leaders attended the function.
