A one-day creative workshop on poetry writing and folktale narration was conducted by the English Department of Yingli College, Longleng, on August 17, 2024, at St. Joseph School, Longleng, as part of their extension service program.

The event was chaired by Nyaksham Phom, a BA 5th-semester student. Miss Tonghon Phom, Assistant Professor, delivered the introductory note. This was followed by a recital where 3rd-semester students shared their original works, and a Phom folktale was narrated by Chasan, a BA 5th-semester student.

During the question-and-answer session, students from St. Joseph School posed various questions about creative writing and poetry. The session was facilitated by Dr. Kekhriengulieü Tachü and Ketousieno Catherine, Assistant Professors from the English Department.

The workshop also included a practical session where students actively participated and showcased their creative talents. The program concluded with a speech by Dr AK Chowdhary, Head of the Department.

  1. An attention-grabbing discussion is worth comment. I believe that it’s best to write extra on this matter, it might not be a taboo topic however generally persons are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

  2. Hi! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with SEO? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share. Kudos!

  3. Hey there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with? I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
