Mokokchung, 24 July (MTNews): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) will be conducting Open Trials for the Boys U-16 and Women (all categories) for the upcoming season 2023-24. The NCA has further instructed the respective District Cricket Associations to submit the players’ list for the trials latest by 29 July.
In this respect, the Mokokchung Cricket Association (MDCA) has informed all interested players to contact the MDCA officials at the numbers 9862052627, 8794269121, 9089777143 on or before 28 July 2023.
It was informed that the trials for Boys U-16 category will be conducted on 1-3 August and that the participants should be born between 01-09-2007 and 31-08-2009.
For the Women’s categories, the trials will also be conducted on 1-3 August. It was further informed that candidates for the Girls U-15 category should be born between 01-09-2008 and 01-09-2010 while Girls U-19 candidates should be born on or after 01-09-2004. For the Women’s U-23 category, the candidates should be born on or after 01-09-2003.
It was also informed that the NCA will conduct fitness tests and that all players are to attend the trials at their own expenses.
While informing that the verification of the players’ documents should be strictly done by respective District Cricket Associations, NCA informed that the players are required to produce original Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card, and Pan Card at the time of reporting for further scrutiny of documents.
Meanwhile, NCA informed that Open Trials for Men’s U-19, Men’s U-23 and Senior Men’s categories will be notified at a later date.
