Mokokchung, January 20 (MTNews): Consequent upon the announcement of the schedule for the General Election in the State, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, has directed all Heads of Offices and all the government employees under Mokokchung District to be in station with immediate effect.
All Heads of Offices have also been directed to ensure their presence and also their subordinate officers and staff in their respective place of posting. It was also informed that permission for station leave on official duty should be obtained from the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mokokchung, with clear and specific details.
“Any government employee on leave of absence on Medical ground shall be recalled for appearing in person before the Medical Board. Disciplinary action shall be initiated against any errant officials as per the provision of the Law,” it was informed.
Further, the DC & DEO has informed all the Bank Managers/Branch Managers under Mokokchung District to consider a single window with dedicated staff so as to facilitate prospective candidates for opening of separate Bank Account on priority basis.
