Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS), Dimapur, in collaboration with instudia, conducted a three-day seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration on May 25, June 1 and June 2, focusing on practical applications of AI in Commerce and Arts education.
The seminar aimed to help students and educators understand how AI can enhance learning, research and career readiness through stream-specific applications.
Addressing the participants, instudia Director Daniel Changkija highlighted the growing importance of digital literacy across disciplines.
“AI is reshaping every professional sector, making it vital for students in both humanities and business domains to build digital competency early,” he said, adding that instudia remains committed to equipping local institutions with skills needed for a technology-driven future.
Resource person Vishal Bardewa led the technical sessions, demonstrating the use of AI tools for data analysis, market forecasting and financial modelling in Commerce, while Arts students were introduced to AI-assisted literature research, historical archiving, language learning and creative writing.
Throughout the seminar, Bardewa stressed that AI should complement rather than replace human capabilities.
“AI is not a replacement for human creativity or analytical thought, but a powerful co-pilot designed to accelerate comprehension and broaden the scope of student research,” he said.
The programme sought to prepare students for the increasing role of AI in academic and professional settings.
