The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has issued a formal appeal to all government employees, urging them to maintain punctual attendance and dedication to their official duties. Stating that serving in Dimapur is a privilege, the DNSU said, it requires a high level of responsibility and accountability.
The DNSU said they will focus primarily in Education, Health and Development and, therefore, to ensure the highest standards of governance, the DNSU said they will conduct regular surprise inspections in all government offices within and around Dimapur. However, it added that special focus will be on district hospitals, educational institutions, and development boards.
The DNSU said they will scrutinize the district hospital to ensure quality healthcare services, educational institutions to eradicate proxy teaching and ensure quality education, and development boards to promote transparency and accountability in development projects.
Stating that they expect full cooperation from all stakeholders, the DNSU said any defaulters will face strict legal action from the DNSU office.
