Kohima, February 17 (MTNews): On the recommendation of the Search cum Selection Committee, Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMSR) Society, the Government of Nagaland in the interest of public service has appointed Dr Soumya Chakraborty to the post of Director-cum-Dean, Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMSR), Kohima with effect from 12 December 2022 on deputation/contract basis with remuneration as per 7th CPC pay matrix Level – 14 (Rs. 144200-218200) per month with applicable allowances.
The Terms of Reference for Director cum Dean of NIMSR, Kohima shall be as per the Bye-Laws of the Society or as may be prescribed by the Government from time to time.
The tenure of appointment will be initially for a period of three years which may be extended from time to time but will not exceed 70 Years of age as provided in the NMC regulations. The other terms of appointment shall be governed as indicated in the Advertisement Notice dated 10th May 2022.
