Kohima, 17 May (MTNews): The Directorate of Industries & Commerce has invited applications from indigenous candidates of Nagaland who are a maximum of 24 years old as of 01-07-2024, and up to 26 years old in the case of ST/SC candidates, with a minimum qualification of HSSLC/SSLC or equivalent examination passed in a single sitting with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or 10th pass + (2 years ITI), or (10+2) + (2 years ITI).
These candidates are considered for direct admission into the Second Year (Third Semester) through Lateral Entry for undergoing a 2 (two) year Diploma Course in Handloom & Textile Technology, commencing in July 2024 at the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati.
Necessary detailed information and prescribed application forms may be collected from the office of the Directorate of Industries & Commerce (Dev. Branch, First floor), Nagaland, Kohima during office hours. The last date for submission of forms is on or before 15th June 2024. No separate calling letter will be issued.
