In order to ensure observation of Model Code of conduct and smooth conduct of General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Mokokchung has informed that the District Level Standing Committee has been constituted.
The standing committee is headed by the Deputy Commissioner and DEO as Chairman, and has the Superintendent of Police Mokokchung, EAC Ongpangkong, DPRO Mokokchung, President/secretary/ representative of all political parties, and Assistant Election Officer as members.
Further, the DC & DEO has informed that the first meeting of the committee will be held on 20 January at DC’s Conference Hall Mokokchung at 1:00 PM where all the members have been requested to attend.
