Mokokchung, 14 September (MTNews): District Youth Resources Officer (DYRO), Mokokchung has informed all the Clubs and Societies under Mokokchung District that there will be a District Level Youth Festival for youth in the age group of 16 to 29 years in Mokokchung.
Folk Song and Folk Dance competitions will be held during the festival, it was informed. The DYRO further informed that, for the Folk Song competition, a maximum of 10 members and a minimum of 6 members will be allowed while for the Folk Dance competition, a maximum of 15 members and a minimum of 10 members will be allowed.
Prizes for the Folk Song competition will be 1st prize Rs 3000; 2nd prize Rs 2000; and for the Folk Dance competition, 1st prize will be Rs 5000, and 2nd prize Rs 3000.
Winners at the district Level will participate at the Youth Festival in Kohima. Interested Clubs and Societies have been requested to register themselves at the Office of the District Youth Resources Officer, Mokokchung on or before 20 September 2023.
