Mokokchung, December 12 (MTNews): The Department of School Education (DoSE) has released the Academic Calendar for the year 2023 for strict compliance of all Government and Private Schools within the State of Nagaland.
It was also informed that the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month shall be utilized for class tests/ co-curricular activities/life skill classes/social work and so on. All General Holidays notified by the Government of Nagaland have been asked to be compulsorily observed as State / National holidays along with three local restricted holidays.
Specific schedules and instructions for the conduct of assessments/examinations shall be notified by the concerned authorities empowered to conduct the examinations, it added. The events of national importance notified by the Government of India were also asked to be observed by all schools functioning within the State of Nagaland.
