The Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of August was held on 12 August 2025 at the DC’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman, DPDB Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS.
Chairing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner welcomed the new members as well as those present.
After reviewing the minutes of the previous meeting, the Board deliberated on applications for grant-in-aid to KG School Mangmetong and Model Higher Secondary School Mokokchung, and decided to approve both. The Executive Engineer, PWD (NH), Tuensang Division, presented the status report of the Bailey Bridge over the Dikhu River on NH-202. The Board also discussed the upcoming Departmental Sports Meet 2025.
The Deputy Commissioner urged members to bring forward and share constructive ideas and plans of action from their respective departments to better serve the people and contribute to the overall growth and development of the district.
