Chairman of the District Planning and Development Board Zunheboto, Ikuto Zhimo reiterated the importance of government officials being present in their offices and serving the public sincerely.
Addressing the monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Zunheboto district on Friday, Zhimo warned that Heads of Offices( HoOs) found absent in their station would face actions.
The Chairman also urged the HoOs to approach elected members if they encounter any problems and requested their cooperation.
Advisor for Food and Civil Supplies KT Sukhalu also emphasized the need for the officials to be present in their posting place and announced plans to send people to various offices to check their attendance.
Meanwhile, MLA Dr Sukhato Sema stressed the importance of government officials building connections with the public.
Several agendas like LADP funds, creation of a new sub-center at Aquba in Aghunato and others were discussed.
