Mokokchung, 29 August (MTNews): The Ministry of Education, Government of India has announced that Dr Samudra Gupta Kashyap, a former State Information Commissioner of Assam and a renowned journalist, has been appointed as the Chancellor of Nagaland University by the President of India. Dr Kashyap completed his Post Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, and is based in Guwahati.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, has expressed his happiness and hope that Dr Kashyap’s appointment will accelerate the all-round development of the University.
