ENSF to convene 27th Emergency Federal Assembly on June 26 in Longleng

The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has announced the convening of its 27th Emergency Federal Assembly 2026, scheduled to be held on 26 June 2026 at Bura Namsang Village under Longleng District. The assembly will be hosted by the Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) and will begin at 10 am.

In a statement, the federation said the emergency assembly has been convened to deliberate on issues related to public welfare, education, youth advancement, and other societal concerns affecting the Eastern region of Nagaland. It described the gathering as a platform for unity, discussion, and collective decision-making for the common good.

“The Federation remains steadfast in its charge to uphold justice, progress and harmony and calls upon all citizens and institutions to lend their goodwill towards the success of this noble convocation,” the statement read.

The ENSF has issued several directives for the smooth conduct of the assembly. All Advisory Board Members have been asked to attend the meeting without fail. Presidents, General Secretaries, and Speakers or Chairmen from all federating units have been invited to participate in the Federal Assembly.

Federating units have been instructed to reach Bura Namsang village by 2 pm on 25 June 2026. The Bura Namsang Students’ Union has been requested to arrange accommodation for all delegates and ENSF officials.

The federation has also requested three representatives each from the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) and Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation (ENWO) to attend the emergency assembly.
