Mokokchung, September 20 (MTNews):The Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) convened an Emergency Federal Assembly on September 20, 2022 at Anatongre village under Shamator District, in solidarity with the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) August House Resolution dated, August26, 2022 on the ground “to abstain from participating in any election process of the State and Central on the backdrop of demand for Frontier Nagaland”.
The federation and tribunals with seven (7) Federating Unitson Tuesday, after a lengthy deliberation over the aforementioned Eastern Nagaland Peoples Organization’s (ENPO) resolution resolved to organize a ‘Mass Public Walkathon Movement’ in all the administrative Hq viz (DC, ADC, SDO & EAC) within the ambit of Eastern Nagaland on the 7th of October 2022, marking it as their first phase of agitation.
The seven tribal Federation Units of ENSF, (CWS, KSU Konyak, KSU Khiamniungan, PSC, TSU, and USSC& YAA) have also been asked to amalgamate village level cluster in respective tribal jurisdiction to embark the movement.
The federation also resolved that the “background and the genesis of the Frontier Nagaland /Statehood Demand will be expounded in respective tribal vernacular languages.”
The federation also decided to initiate stringent action in public domain “if any Organizations or individual(s) holding post in any frontal organization in any capacity try to jeopardize the ultimate inspiration for Frontier Nagaland” at such “crucial juncture on the backdrop of Frontier Nagaland/statehood demand.”
