The Fazl Ali College Students’ Union (FACSU) held its handing and taking over programme on September 25, marking the formal transition of responsibilities from the outgoing union to the newly elected team.
The programme was chaired by Talisenla, Associate Professor, Department of Education. Principal Dr. I. Wati Imchen congratulated the outgoing team for completing its tenure and commended its peaceful and successful term. He urged the newly elected team to work collectively, set aside differences and use their talents to contribute to the welfare and development of the college.
Outgoing General Secretary Imdangmeren congratulated the incoming team and encouraged them to seek knowledge and guidance from God in carrying out their responsibilities. He also urged the incoming General Secretary to uphold truth and discharge the office with sincerity.
The formal handing and taking over of office between the outgoing and incoming General Secretaries was conducted by Mesutoba Ao, Convenor of the FACSU Election Committee.
The newly elected General Secretary, Akumzulu, expressed his commitment to serving with dedication and sought the cooperation of the union. The programme concluded with a dedicatory prayer led by Bendangsenla, Associate Professor and IQAC Coordinator.
