A felicitation program was organized at the Superintendent of Police (SP) office in Mokokchung to honor the academic achievements of children of police personnel under the District Executive Force (DEF) Mokokchung for the HSLC/HSSLC 2024-2025 examinations.


A total of 32 students from the HSLC and HSSLC batches were felicitated. Among them, Pewangben Meriam, daughter of ASI Kewingailu Zeliang, and Suponglemla Longkumer, daughter of ABC Sentiakum Longkumer, secured impressive 16th and 17th ranks respectively in the HSLC examination.

Speaking at the event, Vesupra Kezo, Senior Superintendent of Police (NPS), congratulated the students for their hard-earned success and for bringing honor to the police unit. He encouraged the students to continue working hard and remain motivated, noting that Nagaland offers abundant employment opportunities.

Drawing from his personal experience and disciplined practice, Kezo advised students to choose the right career path and focus from the beginning, quoting the saying, “Well begun is half done.” He also urged parents to recognize their children’s potential and thanked them for their unwavering support.

The program was chaired by Imtienla, and a prayer for the successful students was offered by Shri L. Temjen, Pastor of the Police Baptist Church, Mokokchung.
