Kohima, 2 February (MTNews): The phase two of the training offered by the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) in collaboration with the Directorate of Information & Public Relations concluded with the five-day Film Appreciation Course at the DIPR Conference Hall in Kohima on February 2, 2024.
Speaking at the valedictory program, the Resource Person of the course, Niyaz Mujawar, expressed the importance of educating oneself with visual art. Joint Director IPR, Asangla Imsong, appreciated FTII for the two-year collaboration and anticipates future ventures with the Institute.
During the five-day course, students were taught different aspects of filmmaking such as cinematography, sound, lighting, and editing through a series of lectures and screenings of films across various genres. The course was well attended by filmmakers and film enthusiasts from across the state.
