Heads of all Government Schools (GHSS/GHS/GMS/GPS) in Nagaland have been reminded of the Office Notification dated June 17, 2022, regarding the Fee Structure to be adhered to within the state.
The notification reiterated that no Admission Fee or Exam Fee shall be collected from students up to Class VIII, except for fees payable to the NBSE as per the RTE Act, 2009.
1. No admission & exam fee shall be collected upto class 8 except that to be paid to NBSE as per Right to education Act2009
2. Class 11/12 students from Arts & commerce streams opting for computer/Informatics practices subject shall pay Laboratory fee of Rs. 300/- only in addition to the above fees. Arts Students opting for Geography subject shall pay Rs. 100/- only in addition to the above fee.
3. School providing uniforms, T, Shirts, Neck Tie, and Belt etc. shall get the rates approved by the respective School Management and Development committees (SMDCs).
4. NBSE fee shall be modified in accordance with the notifications being issued by the Board from time to time.
