Mokokchung, March 6 (MTNews): Model Christian College Kohima organized a two-day Financial Education workshop on March 3 and 4.
It was conducted by the National Institute of Securities Market established under the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
According to a press release received here, Chenio Lotha was the resource person, which was attended by a total of 100 students. The workshop focused on awareness of the personal finance framework, of employment opportunities in financial service industries, of self-employment opportunities, risks involved while investing in the securities market, empowerment of students while facing interviews in the financial services industry, etc.
All participants were given e- certificate and students who received not less than 60% on their test conducted in the workshop will receive pass certificates. The college also received certificate of appreciation from the institute, it stated
