First Rain, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing mental health support and nurturing creativity in the local community was launched on Friday in Sangtemla ward, Mokokchung. This initiative aims to address the growing need for mental health resources in a society where these issues are often overlooked.
First Rain was founded by Lanusenla Jamir, who expressed her gratitude to those in attendance during the launching event. The organization operates under a guiding vision of building a community of fulfilled individuals who find rest in their purpose. First Rain aims to create an environment where individuals can thrive, feel supported, and engage in meaningful dialogue about mental health.
Lanusenla emphasized the organization’s commitment to ensuring that everyone who enters their space leaves feeling better and more empowered. Through their services, First Rain aims to help individuals recognize that they are seen and valued. The organization believes that by supporting people in reconciling with themselves, they can also facilitate reconciliation in their relationships with God.
As mental health issues gain increasing recognition, the need for services like First Rain becomes ever more critical. The organization stands as a beacon of hope, providing vital support and resources that empower community members to discuss their challenges and seek clarity in their lives.
With a strong mission and a clear vision, First Rain is set to make a lasting impact in the community, fostering mental well-being, encouraging skill development, and nurturing a culture of creativity and learning.
