Mokokchung, 19 March (MTNews): The first session of the fourteenth Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) will commence on Monday.
The first day of the session will begin with oath and affirmation by Members of the 14th NLA, which will be followed by obituary reference and election of Speaker.
On the second day, the Governor will give his address, which will be followed by a Motion of Thanks on the Governor’s Address.
After a recess on 22 March, the house will resume on 23 March with laying of Annual Administrative Reports and introduction of Government Bills. The discussion of the Motion of Thanks on the Governor’s Address will also be taken up.
The house will then go on recess and resume on 27 March, with laying of reports and presentation of the State Budget for the year 2023-2024.
The session will conclude on 28 March.
