A vaccination camp against influenza (flu vaccine) was successfully conducted at Mokokchung village on 25th October 2025 for the senior citizens of the village. The programme was sponsored by the Antiok Mission Board of Mokokchung Baptist Church, while doctors and nurses from Mokokchung village administered the vaccines to the beneficiaries.

Seasonal influenza is prevalent throughout the year and tends to increase with the onset of the cold season. It often leads to significant health complications and can even prove fatal, particularly among senior citizens and individuals with existing medical conditions.
The camp was organized with the objective of protecting the elderly from the flu and reducing the incidence of influenza within the wider community. Through such preventive initiatives, the organizers hope to promote better public health and enhance awareness of the importance of seasonal vaccination. According to Dr. Kilang, this flu vaccination camp might be one of the first in Nagaland.
