“Failure to use ePOS machine will result in lapse of food grain quota”
Mokokchung, 01 October (MTNews): The Assistant Director of Food & Civil Supplies, Mokokchung, N Jamonger Ao, has informed all the eligible beneficiaries or ration card holders of Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority Household (PHH) of the National Food Security Act 2013 under the 18 Wards urban Fair Price Shops (FPS) of Mokokchung Town that distribution of food grains will be only through the Aadhar-enabled ePOS machine.
It was further informed that delivery of food grains has all been brought under the online system. As such, food grains will be issued only to the eligible beneficiaries “by putting their fingerprints on the ePOS machine.”
Therefore, the Assistant Director Food & Civil Supplies have directed all the ration card holders under the 18 urban wards of Mokokchung town to collect their eligible quota of food grains from their respective FPS strictly through the ePOS machine from the month of October 2023 onwards.
Failure to collect the quota will result in the lapse of food grains for the next month, it was informed.
