Longleng, June 24 (MTNews): District Health Society, Longleng conducted a “Free Cataract Surgery Eye Camp” at District Hospital, Longleng that was held from 20th of June to 24th of June 2022, sponsored by National Program for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment (NPCB&VI) Nagaland.
An update from CMO office, Longleng informed that a total of 39 patients availed free cataract eye surgery, while some of the other patients received minor eye surgery as well during the camp.
The team for the camp comprised of Dr. Imnapokim, Sr. Eye specialist District Hospital Tuensang; Dr. Renjano, Jr. Eye Specialist IMDH Mokokchung; Medemnochetla, Staff Nurse, IMDH Mokokchung; Temjenkala, ANM IMDH Mokokchung, Takunaro Civil Attendant IMDH Mokokchung; Lechu Iralu, Ophthalmic Assistant NPCB &VI Directorate; and I. Tochi Imlong, Ophthalmic Assistant CHC Longkhim.
