Medziphema, February 2 (MTNews): In the morning match, VFA defeated Libra FC through tiebreaker after the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Sainem for Libra and Aliba of VFA scored for their respective teams in regulation time. VFA won the match 5-4 via tiebreaker.
In the afternoon match, United Falcon Club overcame the Ruzaphema Youth Org in a strong second half comeback despite conceding an own goal. The other goal scorer for RYO came from Henry, while Kevisede and Mangal Gurung (2goals) scored for UFC. Final score at the end of the match was 3-2 in favor of the UFC.
The defending champion Amigos FC overcame a spirited Patkai Christian College. Despite the counter attacks by PCC, the Amigos’ finesse at midfield and goal conversion sealed the match 3-1 in their favor. Manton scored the lone goal for PCC, while Rhitso (2 goals) and Menguzelie scored for the Amigos.
