ReDimension Games, a game development studio based in Kohima, Nagaland participated in the Game Developers Conference (GDC) held in San Francisco, California, USA from March 18th to 22nd, 2024.
At the conference, ReDimension Games showcased their game, Sojourn Past, under the Indian Pavilion alongside other games from India. Pekrukhrietuo Pienyü, the studio’s co-founder, who represented the team at the Game Developers Conference, emphasized that the event provided an excellent opportunity for their team to reach a global audience and connect with the international game development industry and fellow developers.
The Game Developers Conference is the largest annual event for game developers worldwide, spanning five days and featuring industry talks and exhibitions from major companies worldwide.
ReDimension Games received recognition for Sojourn Past at the 15th edition of the India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) in November 2023, winning the “Upcoming Game of the Year” award. Additionally, the studio was selected by South Korean game publisher KRAFTON India for its inaugural cohort of the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) program. Through this program, ReDimension Games will receive financial assistance, resources, and mentoring from industry experts.
