Mokokchung, 16 April (MTNews): A field trip to Longkhum village was undertaken for the students of class 8, GMS Pongentola on 15 April as part of Nagaland Enhancing Classroom Teaching and Resources (NECTAR).

The students along with the teachers visited Longlangba, which is a ‘stone bridge’ passing through the rhododendron woods, AKM monument, Tangkum Ki and Mongzü Ki (eagle’s nest). The students also visited the pine groves which were planted during the British era in the year 1945.

The field trip was undertaken to provide the students with an opportunity to learn about the significance of cultural and traditional history.

  3. Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your content seem to be running off the screen in Safari. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The design and style look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Many thanks
