Mokokchung, 26 July (MTNews): The Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan, will be the guest of honor at the upcoming pre-harvest festival of the Ao Naga community, Tsüngremmung. The festival, organized by the Village Council of Mangmetong, is scheduled to take place on 2 August 2023, at Er Akangmeren Playground in Mangmetong village.
Accompanying the Governor at this vibrant celebration will be the Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
As per a Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) report, the students of GHS Mangmetong will handle the reception of the guests at the village gate, following which the village youth will escort them to the venue, Er Akangmeren Playground.
During the event, short speeches will be delivered by esteemed dignitaries, including Advisor for Soil & Water Conservation and IPR, Mr. Imkong L Imchen, and Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji.
