When it comes to beauty with talent, Miss Hikali Achumi should not be overlooked. In a glitzy ceremony held at Zunheboto Town Hall on 5 July, 2022, Hikali Achumi was crowned Miss Sumi 2022. In the same year, she was also crowned Miss Nagaland 2022 at the Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima.

Furthermore, Hikali Achumi officially launched her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project on 27 January, 2023, in Noklak with the theme “period positive.”
Through this movement, she hopes that everyone will work together to change perceptions, accept women of various kinds, and turn menstruation into a positive cycle rather than a taboo. The initiative she started is expected to be a source of optimism and hope for women in our society.
Through different phases, she committed to giving out sanitary pads and instructing women and young girls about menstrual hygiene. Further, she declared that she will continue her BWAP-The Silver Vision project, working for the environment, which she started with her sash partners, Miss Sumi 2022, Linovi P Kiba (first runner-up), and Niloli Wotsa (second runner-up). She believes that every action she takes will be practical and beneficial to the Nagas.
