In the lead-up to the quasquicentennial celebration of Longkhum Baptist Church in 2028, the Lt. Dr. I. Longrizüng Trust facilitated and sponsored a health camp for senior citizens of Longkhum village today, benefitting a total of 136 elders.
The day began with a prayer fellowship led by Rev. Akaba, Pastor of Longkhum Baptist Church, setting a spiritual tone for the community-centered event. A team of doctors and medical staff attended to the health needs of the elderly, providing consultations and care in various specializations.
The Trust expressed deep gratitude to Longkhum Baptist Church and the medical personnel for making the camp a success. Special thanks were extended to Dr. Marina, Chief Medical Officer of Mokokchung; Dr. Mar (orthopedic specialist); Dr. Lipokyanger (eye specialist); Dr. Zuchubeni (ENT specialist); Dr. Sentila; and Dr. Mar Walling. The Trust also acknowledged the valuable support of Longkhum PHC nurse Asenla, BHW Kilemsungba, Vaccinator Impangtula, and Pharmacist Toshimongla.
Representatives of the Lt. Dr. I. They further announced plans to conduct similar health camps for the general population in the near future.
