Stating that the Hornbill Festival is changing mindsets among Naga people, Y Vikheho Swu, former R&B Minister urged that it was time for the general public to change their mindsets and adapt to the changing times keeping in mind the global status of the Hornbill Festival, which puts an international limelight on Nagaland.

He was speaking as the guest of honour during the Hornbill Festival extension at Zunheboto on Decembee 7.
Swu stated that it is the Hornbill Festival which puts Nagaland into the limelight with the participation of partner countries. He added that without the Hornbill Festival, countries would not be keen to invest in Nagaland and urged the gathering to view the festival in that perspective.
He further urged the gathering to make full use of the time during Hornbill Festival to attract tourists and also urged the organising committee of the Hornbill extension in Zunheboto, the Sumi Youth Front and the youths to upskill themselves for the future.
Swu was accompanied by office bearers from the NDPP Pughoboto Region and the NDPP Central Executive Body members.
